I've had my E3000 for almost a year now and it's been great - until recently. Latencies have become patchy for some users and most surprisingly, the 5GHz network has stopped using two channels. I did a 30/30/30 reset on it a few minutes ago and re-configured the whole thing. It's set to use 40MHz Only and WPA2 Personal, but speeds at the physical layer are still just 144 Mbps and in the web interface's Status page it clearly says '20 MHz'.
Why might this be? It was fine for so long, only to refuse to use two channels now. I've checked what the other wireless networks in my area are like, and none of them are even 5GHz-capable as far as I can tell, so the relevant spectrum shouldn't be overcrowded. It's rather nice to have the two channels for NAS transfers and streaming and such.
After manually specifying a base channel (48 at the moment), it actually kicks into 40MHz. The problem is now that my clients, both using a WUSB600N, are getting 'Unable to connect to (SSID)' pretty much instantly after clicking the network in Windows.

Trying to connect a Samsung clp-315w wirelessly to my E3000. I plug the Ethernet cable into both to configure the printer and I cannot access the printer via its IP address. I suspect the printer is reporting the wrong IP address or it the IP is not being assigned by the router or it is being blocked by the router. Routers firewall is off. I use the Samsung software and it does not see the printer either. It seems the router is not seeing the printer or allowing it access to the network. I have tried to connect my Kindle to my E3000 without success. The Kindle shows that the router is there but after entering my password in the Kindle it will not connect. I tried going into Cisco Connect and enable 'Guest' user. Again the Kindle shows that the router is there showing 'Guest User' and after entering the password for the guest user it still will not connect. I recently purchased the Linksys E3000 router. My old network set up had been 100% wired, but with the new router we have converted to wireless on some of the internet capable devices. I have 2 pc's side by side in separate room from the router that we purchased wireless adapters for, the Linksys AE1000. One pc set up fine and accesses the internet with no issues. The second pc cannot connect the network. Just installed an E3000 in my house. All wired PCs are working fine on the network, and my BlackBerry connects to the wireless signal just fine. I got an AE1000 for my laptop. It installs fine, sees the wireless signals (secure and guest) fine, but it simply won't connect to the E3000 either using the Easy Key I created with the Cisco Connect software or by manually entering the WPA2 passphrase. The WZC window that shows the networks tries to connect and then fails with no error message. Using the Cisco Connect software to do the same task also fails, and after entering the passphrase manually there, the error message is:
