The Mauler is a mini boss that spawns in the Sulphurous Sea at any point in the game. It swims peacefully until the player comes near or hits it. Once it detects the player, it swims extremely fast towards them while also shooting quick bursts of sulphuric mist. Occasionally, it releases a large ring of sulphuric bubbles and mist from itself, which is difficult to dodge unless the player is reasonably far away.

If the Mauler is out of the water for too long it will explode, leaving no loot and potentially killing the player in the process.

It can be detected with the Lifeform Analyzer.

• Its high damage, health, and defense coupled with its fast swimming speed make it a very dangerous enemy, therefore fighting it is a very bad idea until later in the game.
• It is very rare in Pre-Hardmode, spawns more commonly in Hardmode, and even more commonly after the Moon Lord has been defeated.
• Shark Fins dropped by the Mauler will be brown in color, much like the Shark Fins dropped by Sand Sharks.

The Calamity Mod is a big content update that extends the times of your gameplay in Terraria. This update not only gives you new enemies but also four more challenging modes that will test you. HOW TO DOWNLOAD CALAMITY MOD

You can only run the installer when you download tModLoader. You should operate terraria after that. There is a “mod browser” on the main toolbar, which is a laboratory on steam. The calamity mod can be searched and downloaded from here.

You will uninstall the contents from the.zip archive and run it from the java executable after you have downloaded (C:Program Files (x86)Steamsteamappscommonterraria by default). This would allow you to delete anything from an archive to the Terraria folder.

Now that tModLoader has been introduced boot Terraria as usual and expect it to be loaded. Click “Mod Browser” to find out a couple of new buttons that have been created. To import the only Mod with the filename press on the search bar in the upper right of the browser and check for “Calamity.”

Click on ‘Plugins,’ click on ‘Enable,’ press ‘Reload Mods’ and be ready to go!
