1. Battle Of Wesnoth Game

Great use of the SDL. The font, as anticipated, is a bit small (especially on my 12.2' screen), but I was easily able to adjust it by lowering my in-game resolution (if you do this, be sure to keep the correct aspect ratio). I never played the PC version and since this works so well on my tablet, I won't! I highly recommend this app, even if you're new to the genre. Overall, a well done port - thank you and, please keep it updated. EDITED: I'm supposed to be working on my own app, but I find myself playing this game instead! If you have an Android device and even remotely enjoy strategy based games, do yourself a favor and get this wonderful (and 100% free) game. I don't play a lot of strategy games on my tablet and have only purchased a couple, but this port beats them all. It is really and truly a hidden gem!

Great.. hex battler- lies data Possible to play in offline- Castles and Lord's duke it out on the ol hex terrain. Also of important note after any updates your online they cancel any ability to play till updated and also lie about data and files, where you have to reload entire game again after updates. where they report 50 MB it's only initial it also connect s and without asking Or cancel Or showing data amount clears files and writes music and all for 353 more MB which is a fourth overall shared family data if this was not classic .1*

Amazing I got bored after a while, but I was seriously hooked while it lasted. Also, the mouse cursor movement is actually great and is super intuitive once you get used to it. Make sure to play with resolution options and zoom levels before giving an inaccurate low score!

Easily one of the best developed games on app store Wow, this game is phenomenal. Turn base is slow, but if your into fantasy turn based games, this it the one for you. Free, no ads, NO IN APP PURCHASES, ESPECIALLY ONES THAT MAKE IT RIDICULOUSLY UNFAIR; a real classic. If games could follow this games example as for as not trying to make a quick buck (though cost money on iOS, is not expensive at all) mobile gaming wouldn't be such a joke. 5 stars. Easy 5 five stars.

This is easily one of the best developed apps on the store.

Wont start Really wanted to try it but it ctds after the main loading screen. I tried changing the resolution and downloading the needed files to 2 different locations with no success. The phone I used is the Motorola RAZR i.

I can't play the tutorial. FIXED! If you have this problem: first download only the Core package, try it in-game if tutorial finally works, then download the rest of the packages as you wish!

I think this is a superb effort … Disappointed to see the negative reviews. It took a little fiddling to find the resolution that worked best on my device, but after setting the lowest 16:9 res available, everything is both legible and very useable. I find I prefer using the 'pointer follows finger' mode - with that (and adding the optional 'next unit' & 'undo' tap targets) the interface is absolutely fine for me (on a GS5). Wesnoth is, of course, an excellent game and Mr. Pira's port seems very well executed. Great to have this on mobile.

A decent port of a great game The mouse control system works fairly well. Somewhat tedious but very precise. I guess it couldnt have been done better on mobile. The game itself has vastly improved graphics compared to what i saw in 2006 when i first played it. Tons of improvments everywhere. As a tbs player i dislike the randomness in this game and instead prefer determinism of Massive Assault or similar games. Still, i suppose i am a minority and it is really a question of taste. This game is going to become a classic

Great game. Love that I can just play where ever, whenever and for as long or as little i want on my phone without annoying ads or having to buy add ons to make the game progress

One of the best free turn base game in pc and mobile Very Good! If you love turn base game, you must love battle for wesnoth! It can be play in windows, mac, linux , and mobile. You can play online with other players.

Very fun game. Only downside is that the on-screen keyboard doesn't work

Resolution adjustments Text is way small for g4 and even on my g2 the text was still kinda small.

Terrible I love this game on pc but mobile edition controls suck and the font size is too small I can't read it.

Great game I love it, but 2 minus in mobile version. 1st screen is small, reading text is nearly impossible. 2nd mouse simulator (working like touch pad on laptops.) And I'm spoiled by touch screen.

I play it on pc and phone but When i want to type something in chat i can use just the first lines of letters

I love the game Both on PC and phone/tablet. I play every day I can.

Can't download core files.....after 60% downloading it shows error....pls help. I'am using sumsung core prime 360h

ios version is significantly better. This app crashes and does not offer the same touch functionality. Great game though.

Can't even play it. Every time that I open this game, it downloads everything again, then shuts down. I have plenty of space free, but it simply doesn't stick. All told, I've tried about a dozen times this week. I'm done trying. I was looking for this type of game for my tablet, but I guess I'll stick with the laptop. I'm sorry..I want to try your game, but I'm not wasting my time on something that won't even install. I won't be picking it up for the laptop either; I'm not paying twice to try it once. Uninstalling.

It downloaded the files but I can start the game, it crashes everytime few seconds after launch.

Samsung g note 4. I can't see the font The font is very small and I can not play

Better than original, in some cases. Scrolling is screwed up, skipping some entries in Recall list.

Amazing Played this on the PC for hours. Great, great open source game. And NO IN-APP PURCHASES!

Not touch optimized Controls emulate PC mouse instead of adapting to mobile friendly controls/ interface. Could be a good port, I don't know. Interface was too much of a turn off to try.

Love Wesnoth! Love this game on my PC excited for this!

Flawless I've played the PC version and have searched on and off again for an Android game similar imagine my surprise when I find it! And fully functional. Controls are super easy to pick up on. Thank you for doing this!!

Battle

Just great, perfectly playable How about adding stylus functionality for cursor hover? ExaGear has it, for instance.

Quintessential Strategy game with fantasy elements. Mods are great also. Internet explorer mac download free. Would like a mobile unit editor/creator. Love PC version and able to make new units. Collaborative work is phenomenal from community. Cannot be bored.

Works beautifully Works just as good as the PC version.
