I just recently purchased a RPI through a magazine and I installed the operating system without any major problems (raspbian) apache mysql, I created a website, I did some testing with python etc. And until I've gotten here searching the net, I now have the need to communicate with a device can-bus and I was following this guide 'http://elinux.org/RPi_CANBus' to make the first test, but when I get to compiling the kernel I have these errors:
root@raspberrypi:/opt/raspberrypi/linux# make
make: arm-rpi-linux-gnueabi-gcc: Command not found
CHK include/linux/version.h
CHK include/generated/utsrelease.h
make[1]: `include/generated/mach-types.h' is up to date.
CC kernel/bounds.s
/bin/sh: 1: arm-rpi-linux-gnueabi-gcc: not found
make[1]: *** [kernel/bounds.s] Error 127
make: *** [prepare0] Error 2
I know very little about Linux, it is a few days I'm looking for solutions on the net, but I honestly do not understand much, because it is assumed that knows Linux.
If someone explains to me why not fill would be grateful.
hello to all.
P.S.: sorry for my english ..
