Tutorial on how to check the shutter count on your Canon DSLRs

To be able to check the shutter count on your Canon DSLRs, we would be using a program called EOS Info. This program used to work for both PC and Mac, however as per a recent update, it will now only work on PCs. Mac users, scroll down.

This works on any of the Canon DIGIC III/IV DSLRs except the 1D* series. This means it will work for the 40D, the 50D, the 450D and the 1000D. It will not work on the 1D*, 5D, 10D, 20D, 30D, 300D, 350D, and 400D and the 500D.

Connect your Canon DSLR to your PC ~~or Mac.~~
Make sure your DSLR is switched ON
Open EOS Info !
